Last night Gracie spent the night with Gran, which is very unusual on a school night. We knelt down beside the bed to say our prayers and she was concentrating so hard on making sure her hands were properly folded that I'm not sure she got the point in what we were saying. Any way when we got into bed she wanted to "uddle" (cuddle) which melted my heart! I started singing You are My Sunshine. At the end of the song she would say, "again". So I would sing it again. This morning I was getting her ready and she wanted me to hold her. I picked her up and held her in my arms. She looked up at me and said, "sunshine". She truly is my sunshine!

What a sweetie! Do you remember when Evan was born and I was so emotional that everytime I would sing "You are my Sunshine" to him I would burst out crying when it got to the "please don't take my sunshine away" part? :-) You're great and we love you so much!
